Orbbis were engaged by the private equity owners of a mid-market, third-party logistics company to devise and help execute a strategic turn-around plan for this distressed business.  

The Orbbis Partner worked closely with company shareholders and the executive leadership for a period of four months.  The expedient operational and financial review was closely followed by the introduction of practical operational efficiencies.  

Appropriate onsite leadership and fiscal control was provided to enable the company to trade on an ongoing basis without further external funding.  A thorough analysis of route profitability enabled the company to focus on and cement profitable customer relationships and increase the utilisation rates of their assets.

The successful project has resulted in increased value for shareholders, the ‘saving’ of jobs for the loyal workforce and a business that was prepared for transaction via a trade sale.
