Daniel started his career in 1999 and qualified as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2001.  He has worked at some of the largest global surveying practices including working internationally for JLL.  In 2008 he joined Strutt & Parker where he was Partner and Head of the Occupier Services Team with responsibility for Corporate Real Estate and UK Tenant Representation.  In 2017 Strutt & Parker was bought by BNP Paribas Real Estate where Daniel continued his role and was promoted to Senior Director. In 2019 Daniel founded Metric RE, a specialist real estate consultancy, exclusively advising commercial tenants on both strategic matters connected to operational property portfolios and also standalone property acquisitions.

Daniel is an expert in advising tenants on property acquisitions and has an enviable track record advising a variety of tenants from start-ups to some of the world’s best known brands. He has a particular flair for helping fast growth businesses to formulate a property strategy that supports growth whilst making sound commercial sense. He is experienced in structuring and concluding complex transactions including significant refurbishments and pre-lets. He can advise on Landlord & Tenant Act 1954 renewals, development procurement options and funding. He is also adept at analysing the differences between serviced, managed and traditional office options and helping tenants to secure the best option.

Daniel firmly believes that in order to drive great value from property, it is important to have a thorough understanding of a client’s business and be able to challenge the need for and support business change that may be required which is why he was excited to join Orbbis Partners.
