Ian is a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant (FMAAT FCMA CGMA) with over 20 years of rich and diverse experience spanning finance, risk and operational leadership within leading SME and large-scale organisations.

At the core of his role is an innate ability to foster productive relationships with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders at all levels, with a proven ability to influence key decisions, promote deep financial understanding, and to rapidly build consensus for industry-leading business solutions.

Ian ensures business continuity through the delivery of best-in-class organisation-wide risk management and governance frameworks, alongside the implementation of robust internal controls, processes and systems, with a focus on digitalisation, streamlining, compliance and cost-efficiency.

He leverages his breadth of skills and experiences to proactively identify enterprise risks and mitigating control requirements, establish high-performing cross-functional teams, and have effectively managed £multi-million insurance portfolios incorporating major construction projects.

His notable recent successes include, facilitating a seamless business integration by aligning controls and remediating significant risk, implementing a UK-wide integrated assurance framework and optimising a large scale insurance portfolio to realise £hundreds-of-thousands in savings despite challenging market conditions.
